Description Left Arete is an obscure trad line located around and to the left of Wood's Quarry bolted face. The climb starts behind a pine tree. Follow the low angle blunt arete (not really an arete at all) up over fairly easy terrain. Pass a couple of marginal small cam/nut placements. There is a good amount loose rock on the route. Anchor in a horizontal crack near the top of the arete where the arete begins to rejoin the hillside. Walk off left and down to the start. The loose rock, poor protection, and less than aesthetic climbing all conspire to make this an uninspiring outing. Find something else in the area.
Protection Set of nuts and small cams (#0.75 - #2 Camalots).
