BETA PHOTO: Lean To Boulder, as seen from the Power Wall

Description

A medium-sized, flat faced boulder that leans over onto another forming a short climbable face maybe 20 degrees past horizontal. There's only a couple routes on the face, the easiest of which goes at .11b, but it's always in the shade so it's a great retreat on those hot days.

Getting There

It's downstream from Power Wall perhaps 100 meters.

Pick Pocket 5.11b  CA : Los Angeles County : ... : Lean To Boulder
An overhanging pocket route, much like the rest of Malibu. Mostly good pockets with a small crux sequence. The bolts are out left a bit, to keep you from hitting the large boulder below you....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
