Last few anchors on Epinephrine Chopped?

I heard through the grapevine that the last few anchors on Epinephrine had been chopped. Apparently a couple guys went up there Sunday and saw them pulled. There was also something scratchedinto the rock at one of the stations. Has anyone been up there in the last few to days to confirm or deny this?

Hmmmm. Might be a rumor. I spoke with a couple who climbed it on Wednesday and they did not recall any anchors having been chopped or them having to build any anchors until the top of the final pitch with the roof. Also they stated that the crappy bolts on the top of that pitch were still present. Hard to believe the chopper would have left that in place and removed others. I guess it could have been done yesterday, but this sounds like a rumor unless anyone else has better info.

Well, apparently some guys that climbed it Sunday said the bolts got chopped. Who knows, maybe they made it up. Also, the scratch marks said something along the lines of "Love Me Now". Just seeing if anyone had any first hand knowledge.

Do you think it is possible this was a reference to the top of the last pitch before the ramps, which has no bolts? And it got confused w multiple pitches? Just a thought....

The last two bolted belays before the 4th class ramp have seen some shenanigans. The lower of the two (the bottom of the last 'real' pitch has a stud with a missing hanger. The higher (the top of the same pitch) is two studs with no hangers. Both are easily backed up/avoided. This was the case when I climbed it a year ago as well as three weeks ago.

I don't remember seeing any scratches.

I was up there on tue april 16, 2013. one hanger remains in the alcove above the roof pitch. The other hanger is missing. And yes there is something etched in the rock. It's pretty easy here to build your own anchor.

There are no hangers on the pitch above this either, which I think is officially the last pitch before the 4th class climbing starts.
