Climbing in the jungle

Description 

Lapinha gets its name from the grotto that is a touristic attraction in the city of Lagoa Santa and is part of the Sumidouro State Park. After a nine-year ban on rock climbing, Lapinha is once again open for climbing as of May 2011. The area is a maze of limestone within the jungle offering more than 70 routes.

Getting There 

Follow the signs to Gruta da Lapinha 10 km after the city of Lagoa Santa.
