Description
The Lang Tang valley is a large glacial valley just north of Kathmandu. The valley runs roughly east-west and is flanked by the massive south wall of Lang Tang I and other peaks of the area. During the winter the Valley forms many ice falls of various habit up and down the valley. During the winter of 2004 myself and a group of British and Australian climbers made several first ascents of ice falls in the valley.
