Unlike most sea-cliffs, which have a remote feel, Land's End lies just beneath a major tourist attraction. Once down at sea-level, you soon forget about the amusements and cafés at the top. Granite, mostly good quality but with some dubious bits on a few routes.
Land's End, near Sennen, is such a tourist trap that it cannot be missed after following the A30 west out of Penzance for 10 miles or so.

Start up wide cracks and continue up cracks, chimneys and slabs. Several entertaining pitches, but it's hard to link shorter pitches together due to rope drag. Most entertaining if climbed with a large party of large men who only touch rock once very two years. The official UK grade is "V Diff" but some pitches seem very stiff for this grade.
