Description 

Lakeview Campground is just east of the Narrows of Upper Lake Mary. The basalt above the campground has been played around on for years, though I have never heard much about any other development in the area. This is an exploratory area with lots to see, but certainly not as much to climb. However, the textured, and pocketed basalt is a dream if you find some favorable chunks...

Getting There 

Drive east on Lake Mary Road, past the Narrows, to Lakeview Campground on the north side of the road. In the off season you can park at the gate, or across the road. Hike up through the campground aiming for the top of hill, and a "main" area with leaning pillars.
