The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
This face gets morning shade and is located up on a hillside to the north east of the trail. Routes seem fairly new and should clean up well with more laps. It is best to belay from the higher ledge located just above the main staging area. Scramble up easy terrain, belay from the ledge, and you'll have plenty of rope to belay with.
Getting There
From the parking lot head down the main trail and take a right where the trail splits. Staying to the right, head to the main area where you will see the dam on the left. Pass Lakeside Rock and look for the slab on the right near some pine trees. Scramble up to the ledge and you'll see four sport routes in a row.
