So,
perhaps this has been discussed and I just missed the boat. I have some old La sportiva trangos that I have had for 6-7 years that dont flex at all-I weight the toes and bounce and theirs no flex.
I just purchased some new trango boots as well as some new nepal evos and when I do the same exercise, the boot clearly flexes. Why? Why did la sportiva make the newer boots more flexible in the sole?

Anyone know?

hi
The crampons that we climb in today are no longer ridged, and a flexible boot is much easier to walk in. jon jugenheimer

yeah-thats what I was assuming-lame question but I wanted to verify. Still, I prefer at least for right now, i prefer my fully ridgid boots. Thanks akafaultline
