La Sportiva Softshell pants

I'm looking for new softshell pants for mountaineering and other use. I get a great deal through promotive on la sportiva gear. I've found the chalten pant. But I cannot find any detail on whether or no this pant is insulated. I would prefer non-insulated so I can layer when I need to and have some versatility in the pants- use it backpacking or climbing in relatively cold weather where insulation is not needed. Can anyone help?
