This country is so diverse. There are so many different types of climbing in a lot of amazing areas. We've got short sport routes, multi-pitch climbs, huge multi-pitch Yosemite / Patagonia style climbs, boulders, ice climbing, and lets not forget the three peaks over 7,000 meters!
Getting to Kyrgyzstan is relatively easy. You may or may not need to have a visa depending on the country you are from, but those are easily obtained at the airport for about $70. You would most likely fly into the capitol, Bishkek. Near here is where most bolted routes are found. The big walls are located in the Region of Batken in the Karavshin Valley, Major peaks can be found in nearly every area of the country with the greatest concentration in the Eastern part of the country. Travel within the country is safe, and usually inexpensive.
