The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

One of the first boulders you come up to in the inner circle. On the left hand side before the zen garden. There are 4 obvious lines on the boulder including the sit start. Good place to hide from the sun.

Getting There

Follow the cairns to the top on the "upper Wall" past the warm up boulders and the Kranium bloc will be on your left. Just before the zen garden. Miramontes guide book explains approach very well. One of the first boulders you see when entering the Inner Circle area.
