Kong Duck for Toprope Solo?

I've seen the Kong Duck praised as a device for use while simulclimbing a la a Tibloc, and they're on sale at Amazon right now. I'm thinking of picking one up for this purpose. But I'd like to cross-purpose it as a component of a solo toprope belay system (probably in concert with a micro traxion as a second device).

Anyone have any experience / opinions using the Duck in this fashion? I googled and couldn't find much more than a mention by a couple of folks.

Looks like a wild country ropeman (whichever version doesn't have the spiky tibloc-style teeth). I use a ropeman all the time for toprope soloing. Works great. Just bring a spare ascender if you need to go down before you hit the anchors.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
