Description Knob Wall is a great route to take neophyte climbers. Like the name says, it's easy climbing on plentiful jugs, and it's a nice long route with a great view of the valley below. Knob Wall is also a good choice for new trad leaders, who can sew it up with gear and learn how to sling horns as well. Starting just left of a large boulder, climb the face to a small ledge (little to no pro in the first 15'). Follow the jugs and horns up to anchors at the top.
Location Starts just around the corner from White Gold, not far down the trail from Misty.
Protection Small to medium gear, plus slings for the horns. Bolted anchors (or shuts) at the top.
Checking out her last placement, Huong chalks up. ...

Ahhh....the infamous Claude W....I think I may recognize your name. I have been climbing with Claude since meeting him at Emory after moving to Atlanta in 2001.

This route can be lead using slings only on the knobs. Fun.

Fun and chill route. We did it with nuts, tri-cams, and slings, with no shoes or chalk for added adventure.
