The Kleine Fermeda is an extremely popular summit which is easily attained by almost anyone in reasonable condition, by using the "Normalweg," or W. Ridge (UIAA Gr. II, with a few sections of Gr.III). There are also many other fine routes to challenge climbers, with routes up to 15 rope lengths. The SE Arete is one such route.

Getting There Suggest change

The mountain base and start for the "Normalweg" is reached by Seceda Seilbahn from St. Ulrich.
