BETA PHOTO: Kill the Children (5.11c/d)

This route follows the obvious bolt line between Return to Hell and Existence Denied. This route is not listed in any of the guide books I have seen for the area, and I'm not sure who put the route up. I rate it at approximately 5.11c/d, based off of the crux move only. The rest of the route probably goes at 5.10b. The route starts in the middle of the formation and climbs up to a shelf. From the shelf the first bolt can be clipped. An interesting oppositional move to two solid flake jugs progresses to the second bolt. Clip the second bolt and attempt the crux. After the crux, proceed up for a few moves, and then clip the 3rd bolt. Traverse right and clip the last bolt. This route shares the bolted anchor with Existence Denied to the right.

  • Note* this route can be top roped best after leading Return to Hell from the routes two bolt anchor.

If anyone has the first ascent information or the original rating of the route, please let me know and I'll update the post.
