Description

The Kenai Peninsula contains all areas physically located on the peninsula. This large piece of real estate is basically all of the land south of the Turnagain Arm, and all the way to the Prince William Sound in the east. Major areas are located near Homer, in the southwestern part of the Peninsula, to Skilak Lake, in the central part of the peninsula.

Getting There

Drive the Seward highway to either Seward or in the direction of Homer, via the Sterling Highway.

I am looking for climbing partners on the Kenai for this up coming summer. I will be living in Soldotna with a pretty much open schedule. I am very interested in joining up with people climbing at Skilak Lake or doing any Alpine bouldering. I have 20+ years of climbing experience and I would be game for pretty much anything.

Give me a PM for my phone number and more information. Anchorage has a great climbing community. He is a glimpse at the alpine bouldering within an hour of Anchorage.
