Description 

The Kenai Peninsula has a variety of ice climbs, and approaches.

Getting There 

Take the Seward Highway south past Girdwood and Portage Glacier. Once on the other side of Turnagain arm. The Ice starts.

Skinny Dirty Mix WI3  AK : Anchorage & South Central I... : ... : Grewink Lake and Glacier
On the North East side of the lake a thin water fall freezes up and smears down an open gulley. The ice is thin but well adhered to the rock underneath and very climbable when we climbed it. There is a few near vertical sections close to the bottom which only require 2 or three moves to get over and there is lots of opportunity for rest along the route.
