In critical habitat area for the Desert Tortoise
|
Description This route has a very different feel than all the other nearby ones. Lots of smooth, but positive holds. It is a little more bouldery than the routes to the left, with a bunch of fun moves.
Location This is the 7th route from the left. Just to the right of The Awakening .
Protection 2 bolts to chains. The first bolt is high, and it looks like there used to be a bolt down lower. A lead fall in certain places could result in decking. A stick-clip is a good idea here.

| I didn't remember being worried about the clipping and lack of bolts on this one. I could swear there were more bolts on this one than what the description says, but could be wrong. Maybe someone could chime in. Pretty fun route though. Feels like all the holds are sideways! Some fun stemming moves as well. All the routes up to the anchors in this region are very similar. |
