Description

The JY boulders are a fantastic area of Icicle Creek that features a nice selection of boulders in a beautiful meadow setting. The approach is steep but short, and the climbing is as good as it gets.

Getting There

Park directly across the street from the turnoff for 8 Mile Campground, 7 miles up the canyon. Find the trail in the ravine and follow it uphill for a few hundred yards until you see the Yosemite Highball boulder in the meadow.
