Climbing is hard.
Hey Y'all!

I just moved to Vegas from Austin and am excited to meet climbers out here. My experience in RR amounts to just a few routes and a lot of verticality. A friend and I were out in the spring and got involved with the 4th class bush-whack scrambling to Inti Watana and Resolution ArÍte to the top of old man Wilson. At the same time, We climbed the 5.7 Birdland in the late afternoon we got into town and really enjoyed it. I've been off the rock for almost two months now--much too long--and am super excited to get back out and up. I'm looking to find some partners in town and get to know the area.

The tall, multi-pitch trad adventures are what I love most, but I am pumped to climb anything outside--trad, sport, single-pitch, limestone. I've never been to Mt. Charleston or done any sport climbing out here yet. Two months ago I was climbing a lot of hard 11 sport, sending some 12s on limestone and climbing a lot of somewhat easier trad on granite. As far as grades go, though, most of the time I'd rather be moving quickly with a good partner on some 5.9 trad adventure than projecting hard sport all day.

I appreciate climbing efficiently and moving quickly with a partner. I'm competent and experienced and constantly looking to learn more and share what I know. I live west of downtown off W. Charleston and have a lot of gear and a lot of time right now. No vehicle at the moment. Send me a message if you'd like to get out and get on some rock.

Hey man,

I am only here for another month but I would love to get out and climb. I can lead mid/upper 10's on sport and 5.7 maybe 5.8 on trad. Shoot me a message and let me know if you wanna get out!

Cheers,
Ruben
