The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
At about 5.7, another nice route on this boulder. Step high and reach for the shallow crack, climb it to the top. Similar in height and quality to its easy neighbors to the left.
Not in the Miramontes guide, but a fun climb after you've made the trek out there.
