Description Suggest change

Two excellent boulders tucked under large Ponderosa Pines with a mix of sun and shade. This easy to reach but secluded spot augments the traditional climbing higher in the Jungle. The rock is descent and the lines are fun. You can make Pine Lake and the Grotto Boulders a really fun off day from the crag above. There are hard lines to be had here that this old cragger can no longer do!

Getting There Suggest change

Drive over the dam at Pine Lake and continue on that road (FS 282) to its terminus where the Henderson Canyon Trail Head is located. Hike down the single tract only a few hundred meters to find a boulder on each side of the trail. You can not miss them.
