Several seasons ago, a local guide reported hawks nesting at the Towers of Uncertainty. Each spring since, the nesting activity has been confirmed by the park's wildlife biologist and temporary closures have been initiated. The red-tails must like this spot, because yet again they have returned. Please note, the Towers of Uncertainty is closed to climbing until further notice (probably June).
Thanks to all the climbers and guides who have spotted and reported the nests and their raptors; and to everyone else for giving the wildlife some space.
