Getting There Suggest change

From McCall head north on 95 to Slate Creek ranger station take the next right onto Slate Creek Rd. Turn onto Nut Basin Rd. (FS RD 441) proceed 9 miles up the gravel rd. At 9 miles make a right (just before caution narrow windy road sign)(this road is closed and gated in the fall until late spring). Proceed down this road for two miles to a rock outcropping and a small stream. Turn around and head back down the road a little way until you can see a granite outcropping above. Head up to the left of this outcropping (there is less downfall here) and continue above it until you are even with some cliffs then traverse over to them. The whole appoach is about 20 minutes its not far but its steep.
