Description
This is a short (45 foot) outcrop to the left of the First Triangle, across the talus gully from the rest of the Upper Tier. It is best accessed from the top of the new Upper Tier access trail, but like the other parts of the Upper Tier, it can also be accessed from above. Jericho would probably not be worth a visit on its own, unless you're looking for short trad lines specifically, but it is easy to cross to it from the Upper Tier. Note that the final approach to the base of the rock involves a single scramble move with a possible tree hold....

Getting There
The easiest approach is from the top of the Upper Tiers access trail. Simply traverse across the talus gully from the bottom of the main tier (the left end of the First Triangle), and scramble up briefly to the bottom of the rock.
For the upper approach: once you are at the easternmost high point on the ridge, scramble downhill through broken bands of rock and scree to the top of the most prominent of the short outcrops below. The easiest and safest approach threads down through a V-slot between rock outcrops with a juniper and a small pine in it (the right of two similar notches). You will arrive at the top anchors for the two climbs; rap either one.
There is a very conical juniper growing against the base of Jericho.
