DescriptionOne of the classic peaks in Seoraksan National Park on Korea's West Coast, Janggeunbong (The General) boasts about 12 routes (some are variations) 2-8 pitches up high-friction granite with cool features and stellar views. Bring your friends (and their friends. . . there are a few bolts here and there, but these routes take gear), spend the night at the Pisandae shelter just below the climbs (they have bunks for rent cheap and excellent food. . . or a cooking area if you bring a stove).
