I heard the road up to Jah Man was washed out/ closed. Is this still the case? Anyone been up there in the last couple of weeks?

I saw a stock, current model year 4runner and a bunch of beater GMC trucks make it most of the way in a couple of weeks ago. The stopper section's about a half mile from the turn-off to the Sister Superior group, where a couple of big stacked boulders are in the wash.
Alternatively, it's a 1.5 hour walk from road to base (my maserati goes 185, but off the highway I can not drive).
Climbed Jah Man in mid March. It appeared we were the first or second vehicle to try the washed out road/drainage. After some effort (scoping lines, moving rocks) we made it 3/4 of the way to the "trail head" in a stock ford ranger. Worth the effort if you have decent clearance cause the remaining hike is a grunt (like Castleton but steeper and looser). PS:the second to last pitch (10b)will be harder for big hands. It was harder for me to follow this pitch than it was to lead the "crux" pitch.
Climbed the route April 12th. The road was in pretty bad shape, and unless you had high clearance and 4WD, you weren't going anywhere. The road also follows and crosses a wash that would cake your tires with slick silt in seconds, so bring a shovel and something for traction (carpet sample, two x six, or some particle board). We saw a toyota tacoma 4WD (or something similar, i forget) stopped about .5 miles from the highway. It's not bad to walk the entire thing. It'll just give you more time to contemplate how sweet the route will be.
