Description Suggest change

This route is the sister to Palestine and was also climbed as a head-point. It shares a start with Palestine and the same initial protection (small RPs in the seam). Israel then trends right, climbing hard slab moves (crux, protected) until you reach a rail. Traverse left along the obvious hand rail until it abruptly ends. A few unprotected 5.11 moves straight up find you at a good stance where a cam can be placed to protect the top-out. The top moves offer an exciting mental crux.

Location Suggest change

This is on the right side of the Canyon Block, just to the left of Tricks Are for Kids and right of Palestine.

Protection Suggest change

One-bolt anchor and tree are easily reached walking around right to set up a top rope. Small RPs in low seam protect the crux climbing. A black mastercam-sized piece up top protects the top out.

An anchor can be built at the base (in the crack down right) in order to weight RPs in the correct direction in case the climber falls in the crux. We used a couple bigger cams and some cord.
