Mountain Project: Climbing Governor Dodge State Park

Start on ledge between "Get Outta Dodge" and the arete. Using anything right of the seam on Dodge and anything left of the arete make your way straight up.

Spoiler Alert!!!
Specific FA Beta: started left hand on good crimp on slopy ledge and right hand on dimpled corner with a right heel hook out on same ledge a bit further out. Reach up high to a series of two sharp pocket/crimp/pinchy things. Pick you fav. and then go up to lip with left hand (my feet would cut)Surf out right, hand foot match left and press it out.

perfect! the exact feedback i was looking for and I agree with all aspects of your input. especially the R rating because that get the hell out of dodge boulder can get heady lol

I tried it a few times, late one hot humid evening after a pretty long session, so might be some biased, but the grade seemed accurate, and I enjoyed the moves. One caveat is I am usually not very good at grading things. I did not link the moves. Obviously the boulder is short so it's just a couple moves and it's over but it's burly. That was a few weeks ago and I haven't tried it again.
