The main face of High Tor

Description

High Tor is an impressive crag with the Main Face dominating your eye as you travel between Matlock and Matlock Bath along the A6.

The Tor has one of the finest collection of limestone climbs in the country, all on superb rock and an impressive view west across the Derwent Valley.

Getting There

From Matlock head south on the A6 towards Marlock Bath. The crag is on your left as you drive south. Park in one of the laybuys on either side of the iron footbridge. Cross the bridge and make your way up towards the crag.
