Description

Baslow Edge is probably the smallest and definitely the quietest edge in this area. The cliff faces West and provides a selection of generally moderate short routes, making it ideal for a summer's evening spent soloing in solitude.

The rock is generally good, although some of the climbs are a little dirty.

The easiest way to move from outcrop to outcrop is along the edge top.

Getting There

To reach the parking, drive East from the village of Curbar, towards Curbar Gap. As you drive Curbar Edge is visible on your left as you drive up the hill. Park as for [[106365247] or in one of the pullouts below the edge. The rock is reached after a short walk from the gate.
