DescriptionBack Bowden lies in a sheltered valley. The crag faces west. Some of the crag is very open while the more demanding climbs can be found closer to the forest in a more secluded setting. Getting ThereFrom the East turn off the A1 at Belford and follow the B6349 for 2.5 miles, then take a right fork towards Old Hazelrigg. After about 1/2 a mile the road starts to drop down to the west - the crag lies to your right in a small valley. Climb the crack 6 feet left of the fence up to a ledge. Climb the right trending shallow scoop (cams in break on right), up to the break below the overhang.Don't hang around below the overhang too before committing to the right traverse (good gear in break) for 20 feet.
