The NW corner on Torre Barancio is obvious in this...

Description

At 2308m, Torre Barancio is a relatively small tower north of Torre Grande. However, this does not detract from the fun climbing and the grand view from the small grass-covered summit. Two classic lines, both rated IV (~5.6), ascend the northern side of the tower: The North Face and the aesthetic Northwest Corner.

Getting There

From the Rif. Scoiattoli, hike five minutes down to the Torre Grande. Take a low trail down and around (west) of the Torre Grande and the smaller formation west of Torre Grande. Head back east towards the Torre Barancio. The NW Corner will be obvious.
