Paper mill, I believe.

That's the Woodfibre paper mill. It's supposed to have closed in March of 2006, I assume it has. There was a ferry that went there from Porteau Cove. There's some good hiking on that side apparently, but I don't know if the ferry still runs (seems unlikely).
