This isolated rock outcropping is highly visible across the plain from Arapiles proper. Unfortunately, the climbing is lackluster, but Mitre Rock does provide a change of scenery and many decent moderate climbs up to three pitches in length.
Getting There
From the Mount, drive out of camp but instead of turning south (right) towards the Wimmera Highway, turn left (north). Turn left again and Mitre Rock will be apparent ahead on the right.
