Description 

If you've read many of my route descriptions, then you'll know I basically worship the ground Bob walks on, but I gotta say, he blew it on this route - hey, nobody's perfect. The start is a fun boulder problem on good rock, but he should have ended it there. The topout is terrible! The rock is the worst I have seen in Penitente, it adds nothing to the route, it only detracts. Do what I did, and rap off the third bolt, or bring a pad and spotters, and boulder this one.

Location 

Just past the Virgin painting, where the canyon makes a bend to the right. It climbs a pedestal with a big egg-shaped piece of choss sitting on top of it.

Protection 

Bolts, or a crashpad.
