Does anyone have a sense of what the Indian Peaks wilderness looks like after the flood? I wanted to get in some last minute scrambles and runs before it snows, but am guessing there is some loose rock, and have heard it might have already snowed... Can anybody weigh in? Thanks!

Been in the Indian Peaks high country quite a bit recently and haven't seen any sign of flood instabilities above treeline. Lower down there are some spontaneous tree falls still happening from the ground turning to jello - carry a saw in your car. Crazy amounts of water and happy moose everywhere though. Like the British Columbia backcountry. Always lots of loose rock in the Indian Peaks. Fresh snow above 9,000 feet this morning and also a few days ago, but little more than a dusting. Should be mostly gone in a day or 2 of sun.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
