Saw your report in Accidents of North America. I was the one your partner talked to on the Nose. Glad to hear you are ok and hope you are climbing again.

Glad to hear your okay.
Accidents like these are really getting me thinking. I think I'll have to get a foam helmet and ditch my traditional style Black Diamond Half-Dome.
I have always been concerned about hitting my head when falling. Especially the rope between your leg falls. Falls like those generally mean impact with the back of your head.
I also feel as though the traditional helmets shift on impact whereas the new foam ones stay in place better. Like a bike helmet.

Thank you, Lewis!!! I can't express how much I appreciate everybody that helped us out. I just try to pay it forward.

I am indeed out climbing again, and was even able to do so by the middle/end of last summer. I think it's necessary for my sanity. :)
