I'm flying will they ding on my crash pad for oversized charges???

i am flying out to go climbing on American Airlines my crash bad is just a few inches over their size restrictions, does anyone know if they will hit me for extra charges?

It's a gamble. They might, or they might not. There's no way to predict. If you're gonna check your pad, you need to be prepared to eat the overage charges.

You can disassemble the crash pad and pack it in a normal sized duffel bag
