| El Potrero Chico. Good weather, cheap (or free)camping, cheap food and beer, lots of climbers looking for partners, bolted routes up to 23 pitches on some of the best limestone that Mother Nature ever baked!! magicedspotrerochico.com | FLAG |

| I'm moving to Santiago, Chile and am looking for a partner for some alpine/mountaineering/trad/sport (anything). Thinking of a trip down somewhere in Patagonia - Cochamo, etc. Just shoot me a PM if you want to join up. | FLAG |

| southern Spain: El Chorro could be a good place to meet English-speaking partners. island of Sardegna / Sardinia : cheap in the off-season, prized by German climbers, but harder to get to than the other places. island of Sicily : Latest place the Germans have "discovered" - (I met some Americans who are going there in January) island of Mallorca : notorious for deep-water soloing. Or if you're clever about choosing which way the cliff faces to manage wind and sun -- and bring lots of seriously warm clothing -- could consider around the Calanques + Toulon. Very spectacular seaside. But then I'd want to have a contingency plan for how to get to southern Spain quickly in case it got too cold. in the U.S., I've heard southeast Arizona. | FLAG |
