Idea for route contributions

Okay this may be dumb but I'd like to know if other people would find this idea to be good.

Would there be any way to add on a function to the routes that resembles sort of a Google Street View? Like if you really didn't care about onsighting, you could start at the bottom of the climb and click your way up to the top. I'm sure plenty of people would be willing to take the photos.
