Ice climbing gear rental in Vermont

I'm going to be up in Vermont (Stowe area) for the weekend. Considering the snow conditions, we are thinking about renting some axes and crampons and playing around on some ice in Bolton or the notch.

Does anyone know of a place nearby to rent ice climbing gear?

Outdoor Gear Exchange in Burlington is the only place I can think of that might do it.

I was afraid that would be the case. Oh well.

You can also rent gear from EMS (there's one in West Lebanon, right off I89) and Green Mountain Rock Climbing Center a smaller gym/guide service that does rentals out of quechee. They're about 10 mins from the interstate. Matt who runs that gym is a good climber and knows what he's doing (I can't say the same for all EMS employees).

Depending on where you're coming from you might be able to swing by N. Conway - IME rents gear.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
