2013 Closures MORE INFO >>>

Description

Named after a Marvin Pontiac song and just as fun. Slab climbing and good horns.

Location

25 feet right of Puppies in the Mist. Starts at a 5.6 slab just right of a bushy ledge 25 feet up and left of the one 50 feet up

Protection

This takes a lot of gear and would be a good first trad lead. A few long runners to sling horns up top, Small TCU's, a few medium cams to a 2 bolt anchor. Shares anchors with "Groove is in the Heart"

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it as a first lead. The finish is a bit stiff for a 6 especially since the gear and holds trend way out left which could be misleading. One of the horns could be slung, but only would protect a fall directly on it, not from above closer to the anchors. Fun route enjoyed it.
