Workin it

Description

I seam stumped is the obvious line on the Bridge boulder with the the old stump right below the crack or seam. The Crux is the last few moves. Start by smearing with your right foot and left foot. ( DO NOT USE LEDGE TO THE RIGHT.) Grab the cling with your left hand and the right with the lower crack. Begin to work your way up the seam. Top out is good once you find balance again. ONE OF THE BEST BOULDER PROBLEMS IN PALISADES.

Location

Boulder right below the bridge

The stump is gone now and at 6' tall it was quite the task just to reach the starting holds, but it still goes. There is also a good sized branch at the top of the route that makes the topout not only tougher but a little miserable. I feel like a sit start from down left would have been more logical, and not all that much tougher.

The Stump was removed long ago by Jon. I have done it many times without as well as many others. It continues at V4 no less no harder. Also, Tane there is a route I believe Jon put up called Stiching The Seams that starts low to the left and works into Stumped. I believe he rated it the same. Hope this helps sorry it took so many years for a response.
