Description 

Orangutan Buttress is between the large, low angled Open Face to its left, and the Great Zawn gully to its right.

Its routes are Orangutan Traverse (V3), Dandy Line (5.8), Orangutan variations (to 5.9), and Super Slab (5.11a).


Getting There 

Along the belay trail between the Open Face and the Great Zawn.

A tall bolted route on the left middle section of Orangutan Buttress. A stiff start up a short shallow open book under the first bolt, followed by an interesting jaunt up the face. Three quarters of the way up the cliff is a roomy ledge with a pair of belay/rappel chains.
