Description Suggest change

strenuous 4.5 mile hike with approximately 3300 feet in elevation gain to reach Arizona's highest point. Back country permits are required in the winter

Route begins at the north end of the Arizona Snowbowl parking lot. From Flagstaff, take US 180 for 7 miles to FR 516 (Snowbowl Rd.) Drive 7.4 miles to Arizona Snowbowl parking lot.
