Dont put words in my mouth. I never said that a) EVERY climber in California is an asshole, I met some really nice folks, however, of all the places I've climbed, I've met more jerks in California also. Sorry. and b) that Lovers, Yosemite, or Tuolumne were choss piles, I would consider them outliers in quality though.

Yeah, and I never used the word "every", you did. And of course Yosemite is "an outlier in quality"--it's Yosemite; there's no place else like it. And it's here, not anywhere else.
You know, it's really not so much what you say, or what your opinion is, it's just how you say it. Profane, insulting, just downright unfriendly. You seem like the kind of guy who could get into a fistfight in a monastery. It's not surprising you run into people you don't like.
