How to name a new problem?

So today, I explored a local park of mine, and found 3 semi large boulders.

I had time to climb one, and after a few tries managed to top out on it.

To those of you who have, how do you name a problem?

Also, I regularly boulder V1-V2+ in a gym, what grade do you think this problem would be if I could complete it after 3 tries?

You should name it Iron Man | V1+

Generally, you name it after something significant to it's christening?
You should call it "Spray".

I also should add, that today was the first time I've ever attempted an outdoor climb!

It's good to be excited...

My personal recommendation is just to climb as much as you can and worry about this type of stuff down the road.

Have fun.

v0 and name it after something super cool from your childhood.

Naming is fun. Just let it occur naturally, and don't get grandiose unless it's a new free line on the west face of Mt Thor.

grab 10 scrabble letters and create a clever name from them.

A good name that I've been thinking about (since I went on that 80's action movie binge with the vaporizer) is

"Lord Humungus"

You're welcome

Edit: Too late...
Asked The Internet

rated V1- Classic! This is what the proj is all about.

I saw a giant rock in Yosemite that looked like half of a dome and named it, Half Dome. I think everybody uses that name now.

When I have found new boulders with multiple lines on them, I think of a theme for the boulder, and then the names for the individual problems come naturally. Found a huge thing deep in the woods, called it "The Estate". What to call the chimney crack you can wedge yourself into? Why, "Crawlspace" of course.

Hey man, i usually name a new problem to the feeling I have when I first climb it, and this is the best time for me to think at a name, and about grades I'm not an expert either so you may want to bring there someone that has experience to grades,,, for the rest just enjoy and feel the rock.
