How many carabiners do you own?

I'm thinking I'm at about 95-100. That seems like a lot, considering I haven't climbed big walls in over a decade. I'm curious. How many do you have?

Not enough.

Including all old 'big wall' ovals holding iron, and chains of old Bonati lightweight 'D's from the 80's,,,probably over 160 total. 2 each on over 40 draws, so that's a start on newer ones. Another 40 locking biners of some sort or another. Yeah, I'd say I still have over 160.

60ish. I don't aid climb, and I never use all of them. For some reason I keep buying more though.

Why would you ever need more then 70 including draws? I don't see how you could use that many at any one time, trad, sport, ice, alpine. Are you hanging onto old ones? Do you rotate them so they all wear out a little at a time? Other then big wal why would you ever need this many?

I think the real question is... How many lockers do you have? Who uses non-locking carabiners anymore - Yer Gonna Die!!!

Owning a retail outdoor store and counting the inventory doesn't count!
Now I gotta go buy another 8500+ biners if I wanna get back in the lead.
Maybe the question is 'how many have you used on one long pitch'? Probably could be near 100+ if you were doing a long run out aid pitch.

Wouldn't you need fewer 'biners if it were run out? ;)
